FST: Four gears (1-4) in two ranges (low/high) with left-hand shuttle lever. Gear shifts (1-4) are synchronized using the foot clutch. Shuttle shifting is also synchronized using the clutch. The tractor must be stopped, and clutch used, to shift ranges.

Glide Shift (GST): Eight-speed gear shift (1-8) with left-hand shuttle lever. Power shuttle shifting without need for the clutch. The transmission can be shifted (without the clutch) by sequentially shifting up through the gears.
